Private Lessons for all
ages and abilities
There are 2 tracks to this program
within the three groups (Bronze, Silver, and Gold).
All will enhance your child's performance in the
pool.
Fitness Track A:
* No attendance
requirements
* Focus on improvement in all strokes to get ready
for summer league
* No USA registration fees
* Monthly fees are due at the first of every month
* Pull-Buoys, Fins, Caps, and Goggles needed daily
* Discounts on Spring Tune Up and future swim
clinics
* Outside activities encouraged
Competitive Track B:
* Must register USA
with The Woodlands Swim Team (TWST) and pay
registration fees
* Opportunities to Swim Meets every month
* Regular attendance: Bronze: 2-3 times a week,
Silver: 3-4 times a week, Gold:4-5 times a week
* Goal orientated interval training towards
competitive improvement
* Pull-Buoys, Fins, Caps, and Goggles needed daily
* Discounts on Spring Tune Up and future swim
clinics
* Outside activities permitted
Whichever track you choose, you can select from
the following groups and the corresponding Swim
Streamline fees will apply. Track B requires
the Swim Streamline fee in addition to USA
Swimming and TWST registration fees.
BRONZE:
$60 per swimmer/month Monday-Friday 4:30-5:15 p.m.
Description:
Specifically designed for the novice level younger
swimmer (minimum 5 years of age). The emphasis is on
developing basic movement literacy and fundamental
movement skills. Basic concepts of competitive
swimming are introduced in a positive, fun and
structured learning environment. The swimmer must
successfully complete one length (25 meters) of
Freestyle or Backstroke unassisted and without
stopping. Knowledge of butterfly and breaststroke is
preferred.
SILVER:
$70 per swimmer/month Monday-Friday 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Description: Designed
for the younger competitive swimmer (minimum 7 years
of age) who has knowledge of all 4 strokes.
Intermediate movement literacy, stressing
fundamental technical swimming skills, and love for
the sport are emphasized. Additional skills such as
racing turns, Individual Medley skills and strategy
are introduced.
Minimum age is 9
years old. This group focuses on the child's
potential to be a competitive swimmer who can
legally compete in all 4 strokes if they choose.
Training will focus on the mastery of all 4 strokes,
racing starts, turns, and finishes. Participants
should be willing to do interval sets for speed
enhancement and swim for distance for overall
endurance.
